No updates in a while, even though I've been doing stuff. Just not in the journal mood, and not blogging either. Curious turn.

Got the take-down pin replacement for the badger and it works amazingly well. The rifle just pops apart and goes back together like it was designed that way.

With the smaller form factor as 2 pieces, I got this chefs knife bag to carry the halves around. It's a tight fit, but it works and it can't really get any smaller. I'm happy with that.

I ordered a damn lifecard, and I gotta say... it's not bad. It still a terrible gun, and a terrible carry gun, but as a conversation starter it's top notch. Just the novelty factor is worth it so far. I've got 45 rounds through it, probably more than every other one out there. :)

Spending more money, I got an RDB hunter off gun broker from FG&G. I had to bid and 'win', so I over paid about $100, maybe $150, but I've never seen one in real life anywhere and they're not orderable. The next seller with a 'buy it now' price was another $150 higher than I paid, so I guess I did OK? Ugh.

Three day trip up to PA and back to check out the in-laws land. The land is good for hunting, but nothing else. Can't even camp because there is no way to drive on to it and no where to park. They can sell it and give the money to the grandkids.
